SNAPSIL™ RTV6708 is a neutral-cure, single-component silicone adhesive sealant designed for versatile bonding and sealing applications. It cures upon exposure to atmospheric moisture at room temperature, forming a resilient silicone rubber layer. With its translucent appearance and paste consistency, it is suitable for vertical, horizontal, and overhead surfaces
Enhanced Unique Properties
RTV6708 delivers primerless adhesion to metals (e.g., aluminum), glass, and rigid plastics (Lexan®, PVC). It features low odor during cure and releases minimal ammonia vapors. Critical electrical properties include volume resistivity of 2×10¹⁵ ohm-cm and dielectric strength of 16 kV/mm. Its thermal stability spans -75°F to 400°F (-60°C to 204°C) continuously.
