Momentive ECC3051S is a one-component, low viscosity silicone conformal coating material that cures upon exposure to atmospheric moisture to form a flexible protective coating. It achieves rapid curing under ambient conditions without requiring specialized equipment, and its tack-free time can be further accelerated with mild heat exposure. This coating significantly reduces the potential for corrosion in electronic components. Under specific test conditions (based on 2016 comparative tests per IEC standards for salt spray and mixed gas corrosion), it has demonstrated superior corrosion prevention performance compared to other polymers such as acrylics, polyurethane, polyolefin, and other silicone polymers.
